CAL TAKES THE GREAT ALASKA SHOOTOUT

5-1 and a Great Alaska Shootout title qualifies as a nice little start for the Golden Bears. Kudos to our favorite scapegoat Omar Wilkes for playing well with 18 points, and also to Mr. Hardin for bringing his lunchpail on both ends. We still can't figure this team out - but we'll know more Wednesday night versus Kansas State.

Wow - except for some mental lapses at the end (4 straight turnovers by Randle) we looked pretty sharp.

DeVon was the star of the first half, but the real seperation happened when Ubaka, Randle, Wilkes and Anderson started making plays in the 2nd half.

We're paper thin. But we're pretty talented. I'm hoping for #4 or #5 in the Pac and a tourney invite, but wouldn't be disappointed by the Not In Tournament invite and advancing to New York. I don't think we have enough depth on the front line to go far in the NCAAs, but we have the talent if everythign goes right

It won't truly have success, I believe this way.
