Much better effort tonight from the Bears. Cal was balanced on offense, and only lapsed into a jump-shooting team on two occasions. Omar Wilkes and DeVon Hardin both improved from poor performances Thursday night. Patrick Christopher got me a little excited in the 1st half with some nice offensive sequences. Interestingly, Cal put the game away when it went to zone late in the game and Hawaii couldn't respond.The Warriors didn't play well at all, but Cal deserves a good deal of credit for raising its level of play in less than 24 hours. On to LMU and star guard Brandon Worthy in the championship game tomorrow at 9 pm.
